Privacy, plainly stated.

This is a personal portfolio, not a data business. Here is what happens when you visit the site or send a note.

Effective August 12, 2026

This policy applies to aaronx.co. If the site’s data practices materially change, this page and its effective date will be updated.

01

What this site collects

If you use the contact form, this site collects the name, email address, topic, and message you choose to provide. It does not ask for a phone number, create an account, or add you to a mailing list.

The form also uses a hidden anti-spam field and a short-lived signed token to distinguish ordinary submissions from automated abuse.

02

How that information is used

Contact-form information is used to deliver your note and respond to your inquiry. It is not sold, rented, or used for advertising or automated profiling.

Messages may remain in the recipient email account and in Resend’s systems under their respective retention practices. Correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the conversation, recordkeeping, security, or legal obligations.

03

Abuse prevention and hosting

The application temporarily associates an IP address with a submission count for about ten minutes to limit repeated requests. This rate-limit record is held in server memory and is not added to the contact email.

Vercel hosts this site and may process standard request metadata, such as IP address, device information, and timestamps, to operate, secure, and diagnose the service.

04

Analytics and tracking

Vercel Web Analytics is configured to measure aggregate site usage. Vercel describes the service as cookie-free and says it stores anonymized analytics data. No form content is intentionally sent to analytics.

This site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking. Because it does not perform that kind of tracking, it does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals.

05

Service providers

Vercel provides hosting and analytics. Resend processes contact-form email delivery. These providers process information on this site’s behalf and may handle it in the United States or other locations where they operate.

06

Your choices

You can browse without submitting the form. Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete information you previously sent.

Use the contact form for a privacy request and provide enough context to identify the relevant correspondence. This professional portfolio is not directed to children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect their information.
